More than 30 years ago, Yinsherb chose Hualien Ji'an Gancheng, which is located in the foothills of the Central Mountains, to establish an organic herb business that protects the natural ecology. Seasons changing, farmers are farming and pasturing, making Yinsherb a steady development as an index industry in the east of island.
After three years of preparation and construction, Gaeavilla Resort officially opened on May 16, 2019. We look forward to allowing more visitors to Hualien to experience the truth, goodness, and beauty of organic herbs, and get a more comprehensive experience. A gift from nature is sent across the oceans to take root in Hualien and start a new page in history. Organic non-toxic vanilla seeds are scattered in fertile soils in Hualien’s Jian Township at the foothill of the Central Mountain Range. They grow into a beautiful garden of vanillas harboring therapeutic fragrance, tucked away in a quiet village surrounded by lush mountains.

Private organic herbal remedy space
Each room has a herbal remedy space (steaming bathroom and bathtub), a unique service in the world. It features steaming with locally-grown organic non-toxic herbs and an obstacle-free environment. Pores become enlarged and the skin feels penetrated by nutrients and soothed. Fresh potted herbs by the bathtub are readily available for picking and adding to the bath water. A few drops of herbal essences may also be added to the bath water to make you feel relaxed and free your mind from worry and help it become clear like a mirror.
